Dr. Rooble Muse Abdi holds bachelor degree in medicine and surgery  at Amoud university Borama, his academic backroung, coupled with extensive experience in government service,has equiped him with the knowlege and skills necessary to address complex security challange. as minster of defence oversees the development and implementation of defence policies, and stratgic planning to ensure the safety and security of our nation. He works closely with military leaders, and enhance our defense capabilities. Rooble  a docotor with six years of experience who worked borama, lughaya and dhusamareb. Currently serves as the minister of defence. 

Director General
Foosi Mohamed Farah  is currently Director General of Ministry of
Defence and was appointed on December 2023.

Foosi mohamed farah is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Engeneering and  trucking industry. he has deep knowledge of the field,and had experienced over 14 years. he began his journey in the truck industry with a solid educational foundation in engineering, specifically focusing on mechanical engineering or automotive engineering. This educational background provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of truck design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
Throughout his career, Foosi has gained valuable experience working with different  institutions.
In addition to that he was a general director at Ministry of Energy and Minerals in Somaliland
