Director General Mustafe Cumar Farax held talks with the newly appointed British Defence Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Ash Wiseman for Somaliland and Somalia
The Director General Mustafe Cumar Farax has welcomed the newly appointed British Defence Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Ash Wiseman for Somaliland and Somalia at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Hargeisa.
It was the first meeting between a Somaliland official and Lieutenant Colonel Ash Wisemen where in which a broad range of key topics were discussed, issues pertaining security in the Horn of Africa and threats from terrorism. The Lieutenant Colonel was also informed of the structure of the Ministry of Defence and the activities that are carried out by the various departments.
We look forward to future engagements and cooperation with the British Government that are based on common shared values and keeping our respective nations safe.
